The Liberals Lament
In what promises to be my last political post in quite a while, here's a round-up of what some of the Daves I Know had to say about the election. (Apparently, conservatives have better things to do with their time than blog):
Kristi's Take on the state of the nation, from a proud former 'massachusetts liberal':

i think it's safe to say the for the last four years we've witnessed a cautious W. i can only begin to imagine what the next, unregulated, unbalanced, four years will bring. the irony is not lost on me that, with all the talk of terror and fear, the W admin neglected to mention one of the biggest threats to america and it's people, civil liberties, finances, and respect in the world is none other than themselves.
Jen:
If you're really, really pissed that Bush is back, and can't possibly function for four more years: A reader’s guide to expatriating.
Carrie's Morning After Update:
I was seriously hoping it would be a sweep. I thought it would be a sweep, the way people were getting to polls, the excited responses political blogs were getting from Democratic voters from all walks of life. I thought we, as Americans, would be able to make a stand and in unison say to GWB, "We do not trust you. We do not like what you have done to our country and our friends. We want you out, so don't even pack your bags- just Go."

Coming up with clever titles is for the weak
Its odd how confident many of us were that "America" would be ready to expell Bush from the white house. All this time it was just the North East and West Coasts thinking this way but due to the fact that their voices are louder it seemed like we had a chance.
